方大同月底將推出新專輯《JTW 西遊記》，10月１日來台開演唱會，常奔波各地工作的他，日前赴大陸15天宣傳新歌，特地準備１個行李箱裝最滿愛吃的甜食，尤其是蓮蓉月餅，他一天吃１個，中秋節還沒到，已吞了15個月餅下肚。身高172公分、體重52公斤的他卻吃不胖，天生瘦皮猴體質令身旁工作人員羨慕。
跟著父母吃素
他日前在大陸節目《娛情全接觸》提早過中秋，在製作單位安排下，逛了當地景點寬窄巷子、品嘗涼粉，最令他開心的是，向糕餅師父學做月餅，他和兩名粉絲一起製作內餡、餅皮，豈料第１個月餅就做歪了，費了一番工夫才成功做出６個。他看到門口眾多粉絲圍觀，大方分送成品，自己１個都沒吃到。
他因父母吃素，一出生就跟著吃素，為免麻煩身旁工作人員找素食餐廳，習慣自備乾糧，行李箱內除了月餅、零食，也有燕麥片、豆奶等，日前他從南京拉車到上海、又從成都拉車到重慶，一趟車程就要４、５個小時，常挨餓、憋尿，直到一天工作結束後，才上館子大快朵頤。
冷笑話凍死人
而他工作空檔喜歡搞笑自娛娛人，他的笑話都很冷，經紀人要去商鋪買東西，他問：「你要買洗髮精嗎？」因為商鋪諧音Shampoo（洗髮精），被問到睡覺前最後做的一件事？他回答：「閉眼睛。」在場人都笑不出來，卻是他的另類幽默，他昨在港和媽媽過中秋節，下周來台宣傳新專輯。
